4 years Old!!

My littles turn 4 months and my Tommy is turning 4!! So big!! We had so much fun for Tommy's birthday! He planned it all out with me. A batman party with his preschool friends. We played a bunch I'd games, gave all the kids batman capes, opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Tommy was so happy, he was just beaming all day! :) The party kids were just about the cutest bunch of 4 year olds I've ever seen! They talked my ear off and said the funniest things! They melt my heart! :) 

Tommy is such a sweet boy. Sweet is really the best word to describe him. He loves his baby brothers and is so kind to them. He loves and looks up to his big brothers.  He is always willing to share whether it's toys treats, clothes, etc. he holds the doors open for me, Pals around with me, and is my little go-to-guy. I sure love my Tommy! Happy Birthday my darling boy! 

This is a pic of the kids at a recent soccer clinic. It was a fundraiser for my sisters Hailey and Elizabeth and their soccer teams for a service-through-soccer-trip to Africa! My guys just can't get enough of sports! :)

4 monthers!

These two little cutie pies are 4 months old! I love their funny expressions. They are so full of life and bring us so much joy! They are both laughing the full belly laughs, they like watching T.V. and noisy toys. They are on a pretty good sleep cycle. They go to bed and are sleeping through the night...pretty much. They still have their "nights" here and there. They are both great snugglers. They love being held. Henry likes to put his face right into my neck, Charlie still kind of stiffens up at times, (arches his back like he has reflux) but likes to face out where he can see what's going on. He is so very patient, but once he has reached the end of his rope he gets really mad! He does this growl, yell thing that I think is too cute! 

4 month stats:

Henry 

14.4 lbs 25inches head 16.7 inches 53rd percentile

Charlie

11.8 lbs 23.25 inches head 15.4 inches 3rd percentile

They are both growing well and following their growth curves nicely. 

Dr. also found that Henry has 2 ear infections! :( Poor little honey. He's been  so sweet and smiley lately too!  Both babes are teething, I cant believe they'll have choppers!  It sure isn't easy on them though. It makes sleeping and breathing (because of runny noses) and nursing and just being, painful! I just think they're too teeny for teeth! Goodness!   

We recently started them on some rice cereal and they seem to be doing just fine with it. In fact, Henry LOVES it and snarfs it up as fast as I can feed it to him. I give him about 2 Tbsp or less mixed with warm water or formula. Charlie still spits it out but I think it's good practice for him for when he's more ready for solids. I was a little surprised when the pediatrician said we could introduce all/any solids already! Anything we want, even citrus!? Things change so much! With Calvin and Ben we were told to wait until baby is about 6 months, and not introduce citrus or fruit until 1 year. I think I'll stick with the rice for now and then try some oatmeal, then around 6 months veggies and lastly fruit. I enjoy introducing new things to the babies and watching their reactions. At the same time I feel like each new thing and next step is them getting bigger! I want to slowdown time! I can't even express how much I love being their mommy! My heart is so full!  <3

Family night Swim night

We just had to do it! When you're so consumed with infant twins, 3 busy boys, a husband you hardly ever see, because of full time school and night shifts, demanding church callings, etc. We just had to drop everything and go out for a night as a family and have some fun! I don't even know why we chose swimming, but we did and it was really fun! The big boys swam with Jeff while the babies and I hung out on the bench observing. I've decided my boys are fish!

Calvin and Ben Reflections Winners and a school night for the Family

I'm proud of these two, they each entered paintings in the schools annual reflections contest. Their paintings were both chosen to advance to the district competition, and from the district Ben's was chosen to advance to Region! They were both very proud of their work and happy that Ben's was going forward. I'll have to post pictures of their stuff later from my better camera. Good job guys! 

 The photo above was taken the other night at the schools STEM night. It was an exhibit night where different careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math were showcased. The kids loved it!
